BIC Research Management Cell (BIC-RMC)

Boston International College (BIC) has taken a strong initiative to foster its academic infrastructure with the establishment of the Research Management Cell (BIC-RMC). This department is dedicated to raising the institution to global standards of scholarly excellence by cultivating a dynamic research culture in faculties and students. It integrates research-focused teaching methods and encourages intellectual exploration among both faculty and students. Through faculty development programs (FDP), workshops, and seminars, BIC-RMC continuously enhances research capabilities, ensuring alignment with current academic and applied research trends in management and related fields.

A cornerstone of BIC-RMC’s mission is to rigorously support the completion of Graduate Research Projects (GRP) and other academic research initiatives by students. To this end, the department has introduced a structured approach to facilitate high-quality research outputs. Central to this endeavor is the plan to launch a double-blind peer-reviewed research journal, providing a scholarly platform for the dissemination of research findings. In addition, BIC-RMC is committed to organizing national and international research conferences, creating opportunities for academic dialogue and collaboration, thereby positioning BIC as a nexus for scholarly engagement on a global scale. Furthermore, the department is dedicated to upholding the highest standards, closely adhering to the guidelines set forth by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Pokhara University. The department actively supports faculty and students in securing research grants, fostering collaborative research initiatives, and integrating research into the teaching-learning process. Additionally, it systematizes internships, project work, GRP, and summer projects, ensuring that these learning opportunities are aligned with academic research.
