Dear All,

Hope all well. It was great to see full participation of BBA and BBA-BI students throughout the seminar conducted for ‘Summer Projects’ from Wednesday 14th August till Saturday 17th August at our college premises. Our honorable guest Mr. Prakash Bhattrai (Research- PHD Scholar) was pleased to see such a high level interaction and enthusiasm of all the students. In addition, he praised the ‘Summer Projects’ topics that you’ve chosen, which includes real time local and national businesses and other relevant research issues.

Our internal ‘Summer Projects’ supervisors (alphabetically) Mr. Matrika Poudyal ( PHD Scholar), Miss Neena Shrestha (Nepal Bank Limited), and Mr Pushpa Adhikari ( MBA) are eagerly looking forward to an interactive, challenging and yet outstanding ‘Summer Projects’ from all of you. Boston College is very much optimistic of the outcome your ‘Summer Projects’ will bring in the field of educational research, thus encouraging collaborative relationships with local and national level businesses and corporate houses.

The orientation program of BBA/BBA-BI first semester is going to be held on 12 Nov, 2011, Saturday. Chief Guest Prof. Dr Kailash Nath Pyakurel,  VC of Agriculture and Forest University, will inaugurate the program. All the newly admitted students of BBA and BBA-BI programs are advised to attend the program along with their parents/guardians.

A workshop on Professional (Business) English Writing is going to be conducted by Mr. Gaurav Lamichhane, faculty of IACER, as per the following.

Date: 26th, 27th, 28th of Ashwin and 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th of Kartik

Time: 9:00 am for existing students and 11:00 am for newly admitted students

Duration: 7 days

1. Mr. Phatik Poudel, Expert of Business English and Logic conducted a two-day workshop on Logic and Business Communication for BBA (IV) and BBA-BI (II) semester
2. Mr. Prakash Chandra Bhattari, Ph D scholar of Kathmandu University and expert of Research and Summer Project took 3 days seminar on Summer Project and Research Methodology for BBA (IV) and BBA-BI(IV) semester.
3. Mr. Narayan Pd. Paudel, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank took a “One Day Seminar ” on Securities Market and Government Securities.
4. Mr. Akshaya Gautam, Senior faculty of Apex College took a “Two Days workshop” on Financial and Management Accounting Practices.
5. Ms. Samjhana Dhakal, Officer of Nepal Rastra Bank took a “One Day Seminar” on Financial Institutions and Markets in Nepalese perspective.
